Hey! I'm MJ (AKA Nexis717, AKA Nexis_Xi), the solo dev behind LastPlace Games. I make small games in whatever spare hours I can scrape together between day job, family, and trying to remember what sleep feels like.
My thing is taking simple concepts and building them into something that pulls you in for "just one more run." Strategy games, incremental mechanics, roguelite loops... the kind of stuff where you look up and realize an hour disappeared. I'm not trying to make the next big AAA hit, just games that feel good to play and respect your time.
Everything here is built from scratch, code, design, late-night problem solving, and way too much coffee. Sometimes things break. Sometimes they work better than I expected.
If you want to follow along with the development process (the messy, honest version with all the doubts and victories), check out the devlogs over at LastPlaceGames.com. And if you play one of my games, I'd genuinely love to hear what you think. Comments, ratings, bug reports... all of it helps.
Thanks for being here.
